Seraphyx - The Serpent Siren - Original Character Design

"A seductive violinist of the deep whose music commands living serpents."

Seraphyx is an original fantasy character I created, imagined as a mysterious sea creature who can control the cobra-like serpents that form her tentacles through the sound of her violin. With her music, she can make the serpents move, dance, or attack, turning her melodies into both a weapon and a mesmerizing lure.

I imagined Seraphyx as a seductive and captivating character who uses her enchanting music to draw sailors toward her. Those who hear her violin may feel hypnotized by the beauty of the sound and the graceful movement of the serpents, unaware of the danger she represents.

I used vibrant colors to reflect her dual nature, beautiful and alluring, yet poisonous and deadly, similar to brightly colored creatures in nature that warn predators of their toxicity.

Through this piece, I explored fantasy creature design, underwater atmosphere, and expressive color to create a character that feels both enchanting and threatening.
